Export your data, switch plans, cancel anytime. No lock-in.

You own your data. Manuall doesn't lock you in. Every record and every file can leave on your terms.

List-view CSV exports

Every list view has an Export CSV button. The export runs the same query as the list (respecting your search and filters, ignoring pagination) and streams back as CSV.

Lists with export include Customers, Jobs, Estimates, Invoices, Credit Memos, Leads, Equipment, Parts, Services, Purchase Orders, Expenses, Fleet, Time Entries, Team, Subcontractors, Surveys, the Audit Log, the Email Log, Payroll Export (with overtime computed), and Analytics drill-downs (any popover record list).

Full export (one zip)

Settings -> Data -> Full Export bundles your core records as CSV files in a single zip: customers and contacts, equipment, services, team members, jobs, estimates, invoices, parts, time entries, and notes. A summary file lists the record count for each. Passwords, portal tokens, and internal IDs are left out by design. Seconds for a small shop, minutes for a big one.

Files (photos, attachments, logos)

Your photos, attachments, and logo live in your workspace's own secure storage, not on a third-party CDN. Download them from the record they're attached to.

Take it anywhere

Your records leave as standard CSV, the format every spreadsheet and business tool reads. They're yours to keep, archive, or load wherever you like.

Cancelling

  1. Run a Full Export first and save the zip. Do this while your account is active: once a subscription lapses, the workspace is pinned to the billing page and you can't reach the export.
  2. Settings -> Billing -> Cancel Subscription.
  3. Billing stops and the workspace is held at the billing page until you resubscribe. Your data isn't deleted on a timer.
  4. To have your data permanently removed, contact support.

Export before you cancel, not after.

A lapsed account can reach the billing page and the logout button, and not much else, so the time to pull your Full Export is while you still have full access.

Regulatory notes

  • Where data lives: Manuall runs in the U.S. Talk to your account rep about specifics for your jurisdiction.
  • GDPR / CCPA: right-to-be-forgotten is supported through the soft-delete then permanent-delete flow at the customer level.
  • HIPAA: Manuall is not a HIPAA-compliant platform. Don't store PHI.
