Services

A price book of common appliance services, all tagged [REVIEW PRICING]: Diagnostic Service Call, a Premium/Built-In diagnostic, repairs by appliance, Compressor/Sealed-System repair, Dryer Vent Cleaning, Install/Hookup (electric or gas), Ice Maker Replacement, and more. Set your prices before quoting.

Checklists

Three, all tagged [REVIEW BEFORE USE]: Diagnostic Visit, Install Hookup, and a Pre-Service Safety Check.

The two-visit model

Appliance repair often takes two visits: diagnose and order the part, then return and install. Track it:

  • First job: Diagnostic, a fixed fee.
  • Second job: the return install, linked back to the diagnostic in Notes.
  • The customer's Equipment record carries the appliance so future calls have context (use the Error Code Displayed and Part Ordered fields as you go).

In-warranty work

For a unit still under manufacturer or home warranty, capture it in the Manufacturer Warranty Status and Home Warranty Company fields, and use the Warranties feature to track the claim and its cost. The customer's signature on the job is your proof of completion.

Re-applying and mixing packs

Apply more than one pack from Settings -> Vertical Packs; the pack only adds what's missing.
